Pink & White Breeding Project Zinnia Seeds
Our Pink & White Breeding Project is a developing population selected around a broad range of pink and white colorways.
Expect everything from soft blush, shell pink, cream, and white to mid-tone pinks, vibrant rosy pinks, and richer saturated pinks. Some blooms may show clean solid color, while others may express interesting blends, transitions, or variations between pink and white.
Because this is an active breeding project, every plant will not look exactly alike. You may see differences in color intensity, flower form, size, petal count, and overall appearance. That variation is part of what makes this population exciting to grow.

Growing Instructions
Sun: Full sun, ideally 6 to 8+ hours per day
Planting depth: Sow approximately 1/4 inch deep
Germination: Typically 3 to 7 days in warm conditions
Soil temperature: Plant after danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed
Spacing: Approximately 9 to 12 inches apart for good airflow and strong growth
Water: Keep the soil evenly moist during germination. Once established, water deeply as needed and avoid keeping the foliage constantly wet.
Zinnias prefer warm conditions and well-drained soil. Seeds can be started indoors a few weeks before your last frost or direct-sown into the garden once temperatures are warm.
For bushier plants and more flowering stems, pinch the growing tip when plants reach approximately 8 to 12 inches tall.
A Living Breeding Project
This is a developing breeding population rather than a fully stabilized variety. The genetics can produce a wide range of expressions from plant to plant, including differences in both color and form.
That unpredictability is part of the experience. Each planting gives you the opportunity to see what this pink-and-white population produces next.
