Good to know: Zinnias are warm-season, frost-sensitive annuals that respond well to regular cutting. Pinching young plants can encourage branching and more usable stems.

•
Sun: Full sun, ideally 6–8 hours daily

•
Sowing: Plant about ¼ inch deep after the danger of frost has passed

•
Spacing: 9–12 inches for good airflow

•
Care: Provide consistent water, fertile soil, and regular nutrition for strong stems and full flowers

•
Bloom season: Summer through the first frost

Heirloom note: Individual shades, bloom size, and fullness may vary naturally and can be influenced by growing conditions.
Production note: Zinnias are cut-and-come-again flowers. Pinching when young and harvesting regularly can encourage branching and continued stem production.
